Omog Hardwood Consulting was founded in Tokyo in 2001, to provide lumber wholesalers and importers with a cost efficient lumber sourcing alternative from Africa:
- Maintenance free lumber materials for outdoor;
- Durable against decay, termites and dry rot insects;
- Natural and chemical free hardwood lumber.
Mr. Daniel Omog observed that lumber used in Japan for decking or exterior projects is treated with chemical preservatives to extend their durability.
The use of chemically treated lumber for decking is prevalent in Japan, with high maintenance costs and potentially hazardous health effects.
Omog Hardwood Consulting was founded to address these problems with the highest natural durable species of Cameroon and Africa.
Prior to the establishment of Omog Hardwood Consulting
in 2001, Mr. Daniel Omog served for two years as a full time Marketing
Consultant at the at the Cameroon Embassy in Tokyo. His duties included
promoting Cameroon wood species in the Japanese market and organizing commercial
partnerships between Japanese importers and Cameroon suppliers.
Mr. Daniel Omog was educated and graduated at Montreal University, Canada, in
Business Economics.
